Looking for a supplier in China who can take a dress from sketch to shipment? Imily Clothing is based in Guangzhou and works with importers, wholesalers and independent labels that need custom dresses made without opening a buying office in China. What we make

Tell us the style and the price point; if it can be sewn at volume, we can develop it.

• Woven dresses. Shirt, wrap, slip and bias-cut dresses, tiered and smocked styles, A-line and fit-and-flare, midi and maxi.

• Occasion and evening. Cocktail dresses, evening gowns, bridesmaid and formal styles, with lining, boning or structure as needed.
• Everyday and casual. Cotton, linen and viscose day dresses, plus co-ord sets cut to match.

What you can change on an order

• Fabric. Cotton, linen, viscose, rayon, crepe, satin, twill, denim, jersey and blends — bought to your spec through the Guangzhou textile market, or from a mill you already use.
• Fit and grading. Your own size chart, or we grade up and down from a size you already sell.
• Colour and print. Pantone matching, custom prints (digital or screen), and piece-dyeing.
• Trims and finishing. Linings, zips, buttons, hook-and-eye, interfacing, elastic, and stitch or topstitch detail.
• Your brand. Woven labels, size and care labels, hang tags and printed packaging — nothing on the dress mentions us. More on private label dresses.

Minimum order, sampling and lead time

The minimum is 100 pieces per style, and you can split that across sizes and up to three colours. Sampling takes 7–10 days once the fabric is confirmed, and bulk production is 20–45 days after you approve the sample. A sample fee of RMB500 applies per style and is credited back on the bulk order. How we keep the fit and the finishing right

A dress is judged on its fit and its finish, and both are easy to lose between a single sample and a 300-piece run. We check the order at the points where a mistake is still cheap to fix.

• Fabric checked on arrival. Shade, weight and shrinkage are measured against the approved swatch before anything is cut.
• One approved sample as the reference. A signed-off sample stays with the order, and the first pieces off the line are checked against it.
• Two inspection rounds. Once after sewing and finishing, and again before packing — measured against your size chart, piece by piece.
• Corrections while it is still in our hands. Anything that does not match is fixed before packing, not reported after the container has sailed.

Questions buyers ask

Can you work from a dress I already sell?

Yes. Send us one piece and we will measure it, match the fabric and the finishing, and grade it into your size range.

Do you take small first orders?

Yes — the minimum is 100 pieces per style, which is why the business is built around our low MOQ structure. If this is your first collection, see how we work with new brands.

Can the dresses carry my own label?

Fully. Woven labels, size and care labels, hang tags and packaging can all carry your brand, and nothing on the garment mentions us. Labels and swing tags are made from 1,000 pieces; the garment minimum stays at 100.

Where do you ship?

We deliver door to door with DDP to the United States, all of Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, with the duties paid before the goods reach you.
